We film in grooming salons and mobile grooming vans with a head-mounted camera on the groomer and fixed cameras over the table and tub. The footage covers the bath and rinse, the dryer pass that fluffs coat for cutting, clipper work with guard combs, scissor finishing on the face and feet, nail trimming with a dremel or clippers, and ear cleaning. It also records the restraint technique and the pauses when the animal needs a moment.
The judgment is constant. The groomer decides when to switch from clippers to scissors. They feel a mat and decide whether to work it out or cut it. They sense a dog tensing before it moves.
Episodes are segmented per groom with steps like "bathe", "dry", "clip body", "scissor face", and "trim nails", each tagged for success or failure. Hand and tool tracking are optional, and we can add animal pose tracking on request. Data is delivered in the layout you specify, straight into your cloud storage. Groomers are consented and paid, and pet owners give permission.
