Tire Service

A tire technician breaks a bead, levers a tire off a rim, mounts a new one, inflates it with a bang, balances the wheel, and torques the lug nuts in a star pattern, all with force and with the possibility of real injury. It is one of the more physical jobs in a garage and one of the few where sequence mistakes can hurt someone.

Work in our footage includes jacking and lifting, loosening lugs with an impact gun, mounting and demounting on a tire machine, plugging punctures, balancing on a spin balancer, installing TPMS sensors, and road-force testing. Each step has a specific tool and a specific hand position, and technicians constantly check for pinched beads and rim damage.

We capture from a head camera on the technician and from fixed cameras at the tire machine and the lift, synchronized. Recording runs for full shifts in operating tire shops in five countries. Written consent and compensation come first, which is why the footage can be used in a model you sell.

A typical tire service episode, cut into the steps your labels attach to.

The delivered episodes correspond to jobs: one wheel, one vehicle, one puncture repair. Steps carry plain-language labels and success or failure tags, so a bead that would not seat is marked. Hand, tool, and part tracks can be added if your model needs them. You get the data in your format, in your storage, with a manifest for every batch.
